One of the most exciting cruise ship launches taking place in 2016, Royal Caribbean’s third Quantum-class vessel Ovation of the Seas will take to the waves with passengers for the first time in May, sailing straight to China to begin its working life. Six months after that, the ship will head for its highly-anticipated brief summer home in Sydney, arriving 15 December.

Onboard will be features such as The North Star observation capsule, iFly skydiving simulator, dodgem cars and a host of other technology including bionic bartenders, the Two70 interactive technology showcase and wristband SeaPasses.

After departing Singapore, the voyage will visit Fremantle, Adelaide and Hobart before cruising into Sydney. Fares include all meals onboard (except specialty restaurants) and entertainment.

How much is it? $8,768 total price for two adults and two children aged 15 and under. Rates are also available for a shorter voyage from Singapore to Fremantle, Adelaide, Hobart or Melbourne (disembarking in Hobart and flying to the Victorian capital).
