Aqua Expeditions offers one ship cruising on the Mekong River in Vietnam.

In response to a growing desire for families seeking new shores to explore with their children, small-ship adventure cruise operator Aqua Expeditions has released a new special offer inviting children aged between 7-12 to travel for free on selected departures this year.

The all-suite Aqua Mekong travels along the Mekong River from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Cambodia, as far as water levels allow it to during the season. Families will have daily opportunities to interact with local communities who rely on the riverbank for their livelihood through fishing. Guests will also be able to explore the floating markets, visit a mountain monastery for a religious blessing with local monks and taste local food items as part of a cooking demonstration with the executive chef onboard.

As part of the special offer, kids travelling free must occupy a triple cabin, accompanied by either one or both parents. While in port, they will have access to activities including kayaking on the river and onboard, an observation deck, library, board games, foosball table and family-friendly films on an outdoor movie screen on the observation deck.

Family movies will play on Aqua Mekong's observation deck.
The outdoor movie screen on Aqua Mekong will play family-friendly films at regular intervals.

Aqua Expeditions’ special offer is valid for departures from now until 12 August 2016 and then again from 05 May to 11 August 2017, allowing families plenty of time to plan their holiday through into next year. There are some black-out dates, those being 24 May to 21 June 2016 and 02 June to 30 June 2017.
