Big savings on Ovation of the Seas’ maiden sailing to Australia

Ovation of the Seas docked

Believe it or not, there are still a very limited number of cabins available to book on Royal Caribbean’s new mega-ship Ovation of the Seas for its history-making journey from Asia down to Australia, departing from Singapore on the final day of November. This voyage is a special exclusive charter operated by cruise retailer Cruiseco.

Just released, travellers booking this week will enjoy a 50% discount on the second guest and even further reductions on the third and fourth guests in the same stateroom. It’s important to note though that when booking, Interior and Balcony cabins are booked on a guarantee basis, so you will be assured a room of this standard but won’t know exactly which one until around two weeks prior to sailing.

Ovation of the Seas features the Bionic Bar, which is as much entertainment as it is service of drinks.

The deal is only valid for this week, so you have until COB on Friday to secure your cabin on either the full 15-night repositioning voyage or a wide variety of shorter segments where you can board in Singapore and disembark in any of its scheduled stops. You can even join the ship there to be part of a shorter cruise starting from as little as four nights (from Adelaide to Sydney). Other segments available include Singapore to Fremantle (6 nights), Fremantle to Sydney (9 nights), Singapore to Hobart (13 nights) and many others.

Very few cruises make national headlines as they travel, but this one will undoubtedly bring with it news helicopters hovering above as it sails into Fremantle, Adelaide and Hobart before being welcomed with great fanfare at the voyage’s conclusion in Sydney on 15 December. You can be part of Australia’s cruising history and enjoy a great deal at the same time.
