Bursting onto the small-ship luxury ocean cruising scene earlier this year, Scenic unveiled its plans to debut an ocean and expedition cruising operation with Scenic Eclipse, which will set sail from Istanbul on its maiden voyage in August 2018.

Heralded by the company as a “Discovery Yacht”, the 228-passenger vessel will be fully comprised of suites and penthouses starting from 38 square metres for a Verandah Suite all the way up to the Two-Bedroom Owner’s Suite at 233 square metres, which also includes an outdoor terrace measuring a further 65sqm.

Passengers in the ship’s 114 suites & eight decks will be looked after by 172 crew members. They will have access in different parts of the world to two seven-seat helicopters, a seven-seat submersible, zodiacs, kayaks and much more. Back onboard, a 240-seat theatre, gym, yoga studio, library and five restaurants will keep guests well fed and entertained.

Scenic has today released new images showcasing the variety of passenger accommodations and public facilities which will feature across the ship. Tell us what you think?
