A little over a year before Norwegian Jewel sails into Sydney for the first time, Norwegian Cruise Line has opened bookings for the line’s first full season in local waters.
Pricing for 15 full or part itineraries taking place from October 2017 to March 2018 is now available via the brand’s recently launched Australian website, with Inside staterooms starting from $1,147 per person twin share for a five-night round-trip cruise to Tasmania.
At the other end of the scale, a Courtyard Penthouse on the same voyage will set you back $2,825 per person twin share. Cabins can also be secured through Norwegian’s Sydney call centre or via your local travel agent.
The season will begin with a 39-night repositioning voyage from Vancouver to Sydney, leaving the Canadian west coast on 03 October 2017 and arriving Sydney on 12 November. This entire cruise will come with a price tag of $7,417 per person twin share, however if you wish to be part of this maiden sailing but are unable to spare that much time, it is also possible to book in for three smaller segments ranging from 10 to 17 days in length.

All in all, Norwegian Jewel’s first season will comprise seven round-trips from Sydney in which it will take in the Australian coastline, Tasmania or New Zealand before concluding with another relocation voyage from Sydney to Yokohama, Japan. The remaining cruises will be one-way itineraries where guests fly home from Auckland or begin their cruise from the New Zealand gateway and disembark in the NSW capital.
