Ovation of the Seas Two70 Great Hall
Lounge by day, innovative entertainment venue by night - guests are sure to be wowed by Two70.

A vast array of entirely original stage productions and themed parties will feature on Ovation of the Seas upon its Australian debut from 15 December this year, according to new information released today by Royal Caribbean.

Touted as the most technologically advanced vessel to ever sail from our shores, the 4,180-passenger vessel will feature three main entertainment spaces proffering everything from choreographed stage productions to individual lounge singers and even entertainment fully performed by technology.

Highlights in the 1,300-seat main Royal Theatre will include two ‘exclusive to Ovation‘ production shows, the first being “The Dream” which sees the central character experiencing a dream involving his departed soulmate, which reignites his passion for life, gives him the will to live again and to go on the hunt for new love. Guests will be taken along for an emotional and gripping ride through unique storytelling to ensure guests are transformed on this amazing journey of discovery.

A brand new show 'Live.Love.Legs' is coming to Ovation of the Seas.
The team behind Quantum of the Seas’ ‘Sequins and Feathers’ show (above) produced Ovation’s ‘Live.Love.Legs’.

Also on the bill will be “Live.Love.Legs.” a production from the team behind the popular “Sequins & Feathers” which plays aboard Ovation‘s sister ship Quantum of the Seas, will feature a collection of aerial acrobatics, modern choreography and vocal talent collated into one performance which showcases colourful costumes, multimedia effects and its own cast.

Performances aren’t limited to the Royal Theatre however with Two70, the tech-infused great hall that is a signature of the Quantum class ship. This specially designed space will cater to the debut of “Spectra’s Cabaret” to local audiences, already on show to cruisers on another sister ship Anthem of the Seas. The love themed show welds live performances with the use of a “troupe” of six ‘Roboscreens’ (dancing LED screens that move in tune with the performance), providing guests with a kaleidoscope of sound and dazzling movement, while expansive floor-to-ceiling windows provide a backdrop to create any scene imaginable.

Two70 and the Music Hall will together host regular themed parties where guests can enjoy late-night entertainment and dance until the early hours of the morning. These will be set to themes including ‘Groovy Town’, ‘Twist & Shout’ and ‘Fireworks Party’, some of which will be backed by the aforementioned ‘Roboscreens’ to complement the mood.

Find the Dreamworks characters on select Royal Caribbean ships
DreamWorks characters will be found wandering the decks of Ovation of the Seas.

Ovation of the Seas will also be home to Royal Caribbean’s signature Dreamworks Experience, with children of all ages invited to book their places at character breakfasts, meet and greets and photo opportunities with their favourite characters including Alex the Lion (from Madagascar), Shrek, Princess Fiona, Kung Fu Panda, Puss in Boots and more. A dedicated Dreamworks channel will be available on stateroom televisions, meaning families can enjoy regularly scheduled movies from the studio, to also be shown in the theatre.

Royal Caribbean’s brand new vessel will debut next month in Southampton before relocating to Beijing ahead of its sojourn to Sydney.
