Affirming its commitment to the Australian market, Celebrity Cruises has released its first locally produced television commercial, with versions running for 15, 30 and 60 seconds airing for the first time on subscription broadcasts yesterday.

The premium cruise brand uses its new TV slots to showcase elements of its onboard experience including cuisine, public facilities and destinations visited, along with unique features such as the Lawn Club – the half-acre of manicured lawn on the top deck. Featured throughout the commercial, the significance of the brand’s signature ‘X’ reflects its use in popular culture as the site of buried treasure and the symbol of love and affection.

A number of regular customers were consulted in the commercial’s production as it sought to showcase exactly what keeps passengers coming back, whether that be relaxation, romance or an opportunity to indulge in premium food, wine and experiences. As well as online, the advertisement will feature in print media as well as across a number of subscription television channels targeting those in its premium demographic.
