APT's Amabella sailing in Europe
The AmaBella is one of many APT ships cruising Europe's picturesque rivers.

Just a few days after Avalon Waterways, the next 2017 Preview Brochures to appear on travel agency shelves have come from APT and sister brand Travelmarvel, both loaded with incentives and promotions to encourage bookings.

For APT, its range of incentives, known as ‘SuperDeals,’ have been simplified to make them easier to understand. Rather than a range of different offers across a selection of itineraries, each holiday now comes with one bonus valid year-round on all cabins.

Travellers now have the opportunity to fly to Europe to join their voyage from $795 per person, available only through travel agents. This special fare is valid on all scheduled departures year-round, in all cabin categories on the brand’s entire range of Royal Collection river cruises 14 nights or more. For example, the discounted airfare can be booked on APT’s popular 15-day flagship itinerary ‘Magnificent Europe’ sailing between Amsterdam and Budapest, which is now priced from $6,395 per person twin share.

More than 25 different itineraries feature in the preview brochure including river cruising on the Danube, Rhine, Rhone, Seine, Moselle and Douro rivers as well as in the Bordeaux region.

Sister-brand Travelmarvel, which offers high-value four-star river cruise and land touring, has also kicked off its preview sales for 2017 European sailings with a ‘Fly Free’ deal on all river cruises, all year-round. The preview brochure features 27 itineraries including the popular 15-day ‘Splendours of the Rhine & Rhône’

The brand has opted to keep 2017 departures at 2016 prices if booked before 31 May. A further incentive benefits solo travellers, with supplements waived on Category C or higher on all 15-day river cruises. An $800 discount per couple remains available for holidays paid in full 10 months in advance.
