The students of Rydell High School including the T-Birds and Pink Ladies will soon play out their story of rebellious love as ‘Grease’ becomes the latest Broadway musical to take to the stage on Royal Caribbean ships from the middle of next year.
The production has been specially adapted to fit the cruise ship stage and will begin onboard the yet-to-be-completed Harmony of the Seas upon its debut from the UK port of Southampton in May next year. ‘Grease’ will also appear on Independence of the Seas, which will also spend the UK summer season based in the UK, on cruises departing from next July.
Audiences are sure to be singing along in their seats as famous hits such as ‘Summer Nights’, ‘Greased Lightnin’ and ‘Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee’ are belted out by the cast.
So whether you’re a T-Bird or a Pink Lady yourself, if you’re keen to see Sandy Dumbrowski try to fit in her new high school and once again win the affection of Danny Zuko while at sea, book yourself on a sailing next year on Independence of the Seas or Harmony of the Seas, which upon its launch will become the largest cruise ship in the world.
