Celebrity Cruises has confirmed the return of Celebrity Solstice to Australia and New Zealand for the 2017/18 cruise season – her sixth in succession – with the ship scheduled to arrive in Sydney on 20 October 2017 after an 18-night inbound repositioning from Hawaii to Sydney.
Over the summer, the ship will run 17 separate cruises of two nights or more, to 34 different ports across the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. A range of new itineraries will make their debut, beginning with her first sailing of the season – a two-night weekend sampler designed for guests keen to try the Celebrity brand of cruising for the first time.
Other new itineraries will include a 12-night roundtrip sailing to New Zealand from Sydney; a 16-night Auckland to Fremantle voyage which travels along the bottom of Australia and the return 16-night voyage back to Sydney visiting ports along the top of the country.
For the first time, Solstice will also make an overnight call in Cairns during both of two 12-night Queensland cruises, both of which sail during the January and April school holidays. The 2017/18 season will end for the ship as it heads back to North America, departing Sydney for Honolulu on 11 April 2018.
Cruise fares for an eight-night South Pacific cruise start from $1,299 per person twin share, departing Sydney on 22 October 2017. Bookings for the season are open from tomorrow.
“While 2017 and 2018 may seem like a long time away the sooner you lock in your cruise holiday the better,” Celebrity Cruises Commercial Director Adam Armstrong said.
